We all love our pets unconditionally.

We do whatever we can for them. We give them a place to sleep and provide them with food. They receive all sorts of love and attention from us. What do we get in return? We get everything they have to offer. They give us all their time and love. They dedicate their whole lives to us.

Our pets love us more than we love them. How so, you ask? Because we have family and friends to surround us. Our pets only have us. We are all that matters to them and we don’t understand how precious that is.

Adweek editor Sammy Nickalls shared on Twitter about how her cat comforts her when she is in need. She asked other Twitter users about how their pets take care of them, and the responses did not disappoint. Read the thread below:

These were Sammy’s original tweets.

I’ve been struggling with depression for years now. My dogs have been the greatest support during my lowest days. Whenever I’m crying, my pups curl up right next to me and cuddle with me until I stop. They can feel my pain and are always there for me. I honestly don’t deserve them.

Getting out of their comfort zone for you.

They can tell when you’re disturbed.

Your pets can tell when you’re in pain.

We don’t deserve animals.
