20 Hilariously Sad Adulthood Tweets For People Tired Of Being Grown Ups

Let’s be upfront now. When we were young children, the idea of maturing delighted us. We fantasized about living in a free society where we could do whatever we wanted without getting anyone’s approval. We had aspirations to be anyone we wanted to be—actors, teachers, astronauts, doctors, etc. However, becoming an adult actually occurred, and reality suddenly hit us square in the face. We must now deal with our problems on our own; we can no longer cry and wait for our parents to solve every issue. If we get married, we will have to cope with a lot of debt, bills, difficulties at work, stress, and our family and kids. It may sound strange, but all of a sudden, we are responsible for everything in this universe.

Therefore, I’m sorry to inform all of the adults reading this that there is no ticket to take you back to your younger years. It’s better to use comedy to deal with adult life than to whine about it. The funniest grownups on Twitter have contributed 20 sad but hilarious tweets about adulthood. Now go check them out!

The sole benefit of being ill and visiting the doctor was getting spoiled by our wonderful parents, having delicious snacks on the way home, and making fun of our incredibly envious siblings. But there is no period of life that can compare to those glorious days. What words of wisdom do you have for the younger generation?
