Pets mean everything to their owners. Once you adopt or rescue that animal, you feel like you’ve just had a newborn baby and now they become a major of your life. So much so that your life starts depending more on that animal compared to that animal depending on you. Once that inseparable bond forms between the owner and their pet, life turns around for the couple as life gets filled with happiness, joy, entertainment, and, above all, unlimited love. Now it is a very well-known fact that dogs and cats are tied up as the most adopted animals in the world with roughly 3 million adoptions every year combined. But you must know there are so many animals that people adopt their pets, other than the mainstream ones, and their stories are as lovely and adorable, even better at times.

Today’s story is about a woman who has a pet parrot who becomes the center of the story after her boyfriend makes her choose between him and the pet. It took a while for Norbert and OP to gel but eventually an inseparable bond formed between the two. But her boyfriend didn’t seem to enjoy Norbert’s company too much. Would you like to make a guess regarding who the AH is in this situation? Yes, it is the boyfriend. The guy literally made it a matter of him or the bird. That’s so unfair. How can he think of being her other half when he cannot even accept her pet animal? Mike just felt so insecure. OP shouldn’t worry about this one at all as she is NTA. What she should be concerned with is leaving him as soon as possible.
