Accidents are unavoidable and it is hard to determine who was responsible for them.
Whenever an accident happens, it gets hard to determine who was responsible for it and what caused this accident but if you have injured someone, you are liable to pay for their medical bills. A soccer player was playing with her friends on a soccer field when a lady came with her old dog. The ball accidentally hit the dog. Apparently, it hit the dog’s back legs. OP went to the dog owner and apologized. She also offered her help but the lady refused. She told OP to give her her number so she can talk to her about the vet bills. OP refused to give her contact number even though she could afford to pay. Scroll down for the complete story.

2. OP was out with her friends playing soccer in a park. The park was empty and after 20 minutes, a woman came with her dog. They were sitting 10 feet away from the soccer field and the ball accidentally hit the dog.
3. The ball hit the dog’s back legs and it seemed like the dog had some injury to her back legs. OP apologized to the dog owner and asked her if she can call an emergency vet or help her but the lady said “no” but asked for her phone number. The lady wanted OP to pay the vet bills.
4. OP refused to pay the vet bills because she didn’t want to give her number to a stranger. The lady was upset and left. OP’s friend thinks that she should have given her number to the lady.
OP was playing on a soccer field and the lady knew that the kids were playing soccer. She knew that the dog might get hit by the ball. She should have been careful. The dog owner should have taken the dog’s safety into consideration. OP offered help but she refused to take it but she wanted OP to pay for her dog’s vet bills.
8. OP’s actions are defensible because she was on a soccer field. OP should have taken the dog owner’s number.
