As someone who is horrible at buying gifts for people, I can never understand what to get for anyone. And it isn’t usually about the money as presents are generally about giving them something they need or want whether it is expensive or very cheap. After all, it is the thought that counts. You don’t have to break the bank to make someone happy either. However, there is a question of whether it is okay to give someone a gift that is used.
Would you ever accept a gift that is used? For me, it depends on the gift itself. If they gave me used clothes, I would politely accept but wouldn’t want them. However, if it is a used device, I would be quite happy as long as I needed it. Well, that is what happened in this particular story but the woman receiving the gift was not so happy and called out her gift giver for giving her a used thing. The thing in question is an SNOO. Now I did not know what it was but it is apparently a very expensive smart bassinet that simulates a womb so the baby feels more comfortable.
A lot of people swear by it and that is what this woman wanted but she didn’t have the money to buy it.

Honestly, this SNOO is clearly quite expensive and this person is just trying to help. They clearly have a good resale value so I don’t understand why this woman wasn’t thankful. Did she really think a onesie would make a better gift than someone giving her what she wanted for so long for free? She absolutely was ungrateful and acted like a choosing beggar. If she thinks she is too high and mighty to get a used SNOO, then she can buy it herself.
When you are trying to play a game but your kitty keeps disturbing you because she wants scritches. I know my kitty does this a lot and I can never say no to him.
