30 Dogs Who Put Us To Shame By Working Hard At Their Job

Dogs are immensely hard-working.

I know we all like to talk about how adorable dogs are and how much we like to squish them and such. But what we fail to mention are the thousands of dogs working harder than any human possible and actually saving lives. You may have heard about dogs used by police to sniff things and people out. However, that is not the only occupation that dogs can have. As it turns out, there are many more dogs out there who deserve a lot of attention.

Not only do some of them put their lives in danger every day but they have no regard for anything but the work they do or their human’s safety. Not even humans are that loyal but dogs will never whine about anything related to their work. And that is why today we are going to show you some dogs from the past as well as the present as they need a little bit more recognition for what they have done.

#1 Even dogs can feel heat on their paws.

Shaun the lamb is being bottle-fed by Jess, a Springer Spaniel, who has been trained since a puppy to help take care of this rare breed of sheep. Jess has been ‘mother’ to 4 lambs.

#4 These two clearly care for each other.

#5 This big floof is a big help to her hooman.

This is my 7mo old SD in-training, Poppy and my roommate. She’s quickly dwarfing us! Soon she will become my own full time ASD service dog.

She is intelligent and has learned so quickly. Poppy already goes out to stores and restaurants with me and has never been anything less than an angel!

#6 They always look out for each other.

Godspeed Combat Assault Dog Duco. EOW: 5 July 2021 So Duco went to be with the Lord today. Words do not begin to describe how I feel about losing Duco, I have lost a part of me. Know this, Duco lived, and lived an incredible life and I was blessed to be a part of his life.

#7 Even police dogs need some love.

#8 She might be tiny but she is a ferocious hunter.

Rest easy buddy. K9 Max was killed in the line of duty Wednesday night when he was brought in to help officers responding to a call in south St. Joseph.

#14 When you get tired from a hard day of work.

#15 This is a service dog and her name is Pixie.

You might think it is dangerous to let a dog do a human’s job. But in reality, dogs are much better at rescue missions since they have heightened senses and can detect trapped people easily. Not only that but they have a lot more energy and work for longer than an average human. And they do this all for free, the only thing they ask for is treats and love. We always thank soldiers but what about these dogs that lay their lives every day.

Hopefully, this article brings attention to these lovely hardworking doggos and thousands more just like these.

My service dog worked out how to do modified dpt because my lap was full of screaming baby and he couldn’t climb into it. He is pushed against my thigh.

#22 Even after all the pain he went through, he still goes on helping.

Ferris has been my psychiatric service dog for years, but after a bad car accident in January left me with permanent nerve damage, he stepped up and became my mobility assistant, too.

We’re on a train back across the country and he’s been an amazing travel partner. Bonus: SO HANDSOME.
