Routine check-ups at the vet are essential for all pets
It ensures your pet’s physical and mental wellness. It enables the veterinary physician to detect any possible health-related problem and start a timely treatment if necessary. Not only do routine check-up help your pet to stay fit, it also gives you the peace of mind knowing that your little furbaby is alright.
While we understand the importance and need for these visits, our doggos might think otherwise. To them, going to the vet is equivalent to going to prison. Everytime they hear the word “vet” their facial expressions instantly change. The worried look on their face almost makes it seem like they’re having flashbacks.
Though I understand why they HATE going to the vet, it’s actually very hilarious when they try to “run away” from the clinic and “hide” in the waiting-room. The following posts that we have collected for you show just how dogs react when they find out that their hooman is taking them to the vet instead of the park.
It’s understandable why dogs don’t like vets. I mean, no one wants hands unnecessarily touching and pressing their body, or someone using weird tools to check their temperature. It really is suffocating if you see it from the eyes of a dog. However, it’s for their own good and there’s no other way around it.
But, it’s not always that bad. These clinics provide a friendly environment and even give pets treats so they don’t feel weird.
