Much like humans, dogs need proper grooming too. That includes bathing, brushing, cleaning ears and of course haircutting. But sometimes, owners skip the cutting part on purpose to give their dogs a funny shaggy look. That’s mainly because it looks great in the photos and is just too cute to pass up.
However, sometimes people do it for the greater good to make everybody smile. Just like this animal photographer named Grace Chon did! She created an amazing photo series of dogs before and after they had their grooming sessions. And as one can imagine, the transformation results were mesmerizing! Check them out below.
Notice something unusual about these haircuts? That’s because they are not your average hairstyles. These are all japanese styled haircuts which are rather uncommon in the United States. All these dogs got their hair done by some of the most professional hairdressers from ‘Healthy Spot’ in Los Angeles, CA.
And the best part is all of this was done using just a pair of scissors! How awesome is that?
