Genius Dog Pretends To Be Lost To Trick People Into Petting Her

Dogs usually are very decent in nature, especially if they are trained properly and get along well with their owner, there is no doubt, they can be your best buddy throughout time. While some dogs like to get love from their owners only, other dogs like to grab some responses from those around them.

Harper is a rescue dog whose owners are always nearby. This 3-year-old pup roams around the front yard to grab all the attention she can from all the strangers who walk past her and get some loving.

In this particular story, Harper definitely knows how to brighten up her neighborhood and make sure those who pass by de-stress even it’s her silly quirky tricks up her sleeves.

Hello Harper, looking at you, you seem to have a mischievous side to you, is it just me or is there some truth to that?

Let’s keep the adorable look you got saved for those who walk past you for you to get belly rubs.

Harper seems to walk around in California unleased with a sign that states the instance with all the honesty, she just wants to be loved.

That’s not too much to ask for, even if you have to pretend to be lost. Those who walked across the path noticed the sign. So did Alyson Aguerrebere who was on her jog while she noticed the innocent Harper unleased that got her to worry about her owner. According to her, Harper looked lost staring at her, until she approach the pup to find the sign and what it actually said.

“She just looked lost. She was staring at me from, like, 40 feet away as I approached her, and it wasn’t until I reached her that I saw the sign.”

The huge poster stuck in the lawn stated clearly what Harpers’ intentions were, along with an Instagram handle.

This apparent scam was running in that neighborhood and the girl was surely pranked by the little mischievous Harper.

Aguerrebere mentioned how she sat next to the dog and rubbed her belly for a while to notice how she does the same thing to everyone who passes by her.

“The sign was hilarious, and I realized she does this to everyone. So I sat down and was just petting her and rubbing her belly for probably 25 minutes.”

Dogs have this very unique way to grab attention and make sure they get the loving they deserve from the owner as well as those around them.

The owner came out to explain how this has been happening for quite a while and Harper rather chooses to stay outside than stay inside. After all, such a mastermind scam cannot be run indoors. Harper is a pristine species who is extremely good at what she does and what she demands, is what she gets. “Her owner came out 25 minutes into it and was like, ‘Oh, did she trick you into giving her love? She said she does it constantly, like several times a day, and that she never wants to go inside because she gets so much attention.”

The bright-minded Harper is good at exploiting her neighborhood system.

But obviously, after a long day of work and so much loving, she’s a being too and has to take a break and rest. For which obviously she comes back home. Nice 9 to 5 Job done by her! Impressive. We all have to hit the bed after a long day.

Along with all the hard work that’s done by Harper, she surely deserves a well-rested weekend off where she just chills back at the beach, getting her summer tan along with her Doggo-Pina Coladas…

She surely might’ve had a tough journey in her life prior to this, but letting go of the past is part of the process and she seems happy!
