Coworker Tells Woman She Shouldn’t Put Makeup On, She Responds By Saying He Shouldn’t Keep His Beard Then

There are many people out there who would literally complain about everything.

They literally can pick any topic, situation, or moment and create a scene about it. Whether it is you wearing a certain type of outfit, or you’re doing something they don’t like personally, could be praying, eating meat, or anything, they will target you as if you are committing a major crime by doing that thing and it will only be accepted if formal permission is taken from that person, and that too depends on their approval, their entitled butt may reject.

Let’s swiftly move toward out today’s story with a question. Who are you to tell a woman that she shouldn’t wear makeup? No one, right? No authority on this planet gives a stranger a right over the other stranger or what they do. And that is exactly what happened in today’s story.

An office employee took it to the community of AITA to share that she rudely got told by her coworker to stop wearing makeup. This hurt the woman obviously but she didn’t let her emotions get the best of her and tackled the coworker by telling him to shave his beard off if he doesn’t want her to wear makeup again. OP asked the AITA members if she did the right thing by responding to the coworker, or not.

1. OP got met with a very unique situation. Let’s see how it unfolds.

2. OP works at a law firm as a receptionist.

The mention of her wearing light face makeup to work is a key factor, she wouldn’t have mentioned it otherwise.

3. The company is trying to work out a dress code for all the workers to follow.

4. Mario raised a point about banning makeup…obviously a straight taunt at OP as she is the one who wears makeup to work every day.

5. OP bounced back by telling him to not keep his beard if he doesn’t want her to wear makeup.

Okay, that 12-year-old taunt must’ve hurt him so badly but I fully support it. The two basically said the same thing. One used the support of makeup while the other one decided to go after the beard. OP, I know is yet to ask if she was the AH or NTA but I am just gonna declare my vote right here, OP you were NTA.

It is her life, she can do whatever with it. Yes, it is advised not to f*ck your life up but I don’t think she did anything like that by wearing makeup. If he had the audacity to say something like that he should’ve also had the heart to hear a response. Him turning red after hearing OP’s response means he didn’t like it. How did he expect OP would be okay with his comment? So pathetic.

6. And then the classic every-story happens, OP feels bad about what she said or did and some people tell her she was an AH for dissing her coworker.

Here’s what the members of the AITA community had to say:

7. I don’t think there will ever be a “next time” because OP made a solid stance already.

8. Agreed. I saw no problem in his coworkers making fun of him by using OP’s comment as a taunt again and again. He was the one who started it.

He fully wanted to make OP a laughing stock but it backfired.

9. Them making fun of the coworker is their choice. It has nothing to do with OP.

10. The guy basically wanted to create a scene and failed to do so.
