With so much going on in the world, it’s necessary to force yourself to take a break every now and then. Alternatively, you may require some quality time with your canine companion. Did you know that, when they are not in the limelight, celebrities are no different from the rest us? Dogs of all breeds are welcome to be rescued and adopted by these superstars. Celebs who enjoy having multiple dogs at the same time include celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Orlando Bloom, and Simon Cowell, to name a few examples. Superstars have been reported to own as many as five dogs.
In some ways, owning a doggo can be a mindless but heartwarming activity that helps us relax, clear troubled thoughts from our minds, and genuinely make us happy. It can also help us recognize and appreciate the unconditional love that comes from caring for an animal.
The fact that everyone on the internet enjoys cute animals is probably a given, regardless of whether or not you have a furry friend at home to give you company. That’s why we have compiled a list of these celebrities and their adorable dogs.
Miley Cyrus has welcomed a new furry family member. She announced on Instagram on Sunday that she had recently rescued an adorable pitbull named Angel in memory of her beloved dog Mary Jane, who died from cancer 2 months ago.
Along with a slideshow of photos of her dog family, including Angel, Cyrus, 28, began her caption by quoting “I Thought I Lost You,” her Golden Globe-nominated song from the 2008 Disney animated film Bolt with John Travolta.
“I thought I lost you when you ran away to try & find me,” she wrote, quoting the lyrics. ” “I thought I’d never see your sweet face again. I turned around and you were gone & on the days went. I kept the moments that we were in. Cause I hoped in my heart you’d come back to me my friend. And now I got you … But I thought I lost you.”
The former Hannah Montana star went on to say that she believes Angel was brought to her by her “bestie” Mary Jane.
“Almost two months ago my best friend, a rescued pit mix Mary Jane, left this world,” she wrote. “I knew she wasn’t gone for good. She had outlived the body she was in but she never said goodbye ….. with her eyes she whispered ‘See you soon Bestie’. Mary Jane defined loyalty and would never break a promise.”
The actress and activist have long advocated for dog adoption and fostering. She currently has two: Frank, a three-year-old rescue from The Dog Cafe in Los Angeles, and Whiskey, a two-year-old addition who lost one of his legs after being hit by a truck.
