If you’re one of the few cat owners who doesn’t know what catnip is, it’s a plant called nepeta cataria that’s recognized for its behavioral effects on cats. It’s also widely utilized by cat owners as a recreational substance for their pets’ enjoyment. Catnip does not impact a third of cats, but the two-thirds that are affected enjoy it as much as a cat can love anything. When a cat smells a catnip, you would see that its reactions range from jumping, and rolling around to vocalizing making them lose its mind for about 10 minutes.
On the other hand, whenever the catnip is ingested it calms the cat down a lot. Whenever you are storing catnip make sure you place it somewhere safe so that your fluffy little friend can’t reach it because if they manage to find it and open the bag, they obviously won’t make limited use of it.
