Cats are, without a doubt, one of the biggest blessings of our lives. Known for their mischievous behaviors and mysterious personalities, they surely know how to make us laugh! Also, cat owners would know that they really aren’t the actual owners but it’s always the other way around if you have a cat. Basically, cats are the owners, we are just their slaves. They would boss us around and would never obey our rules. They are extremely moody but ridiculously cute at the same time! Anyways, we have got something special for cat lovers today!
We would like you to meet Potato, who isn’t just the cutest, but also extremely adorable! His inspiring and wholesome story is going to melt your hearts! Potato, who is a stray cat, used to roam around the streets of China before he was rescued by a local shelter. Luckily, the animal rescuers found Potato 2 years ago while he was abandoned and sick. The poor guy had ceruminous adenoma in his ear canals and on his ear flaps. The vets tried their best to remove the adenoma but sadly, it just returned and the vets had no other option than to remove his canals and flaps to prevent the disease from spreading.
But the good news is, Potato is now in recovery and found his forever home along with a new best friend, Horlicks! Such a relief, isn’t it? According to his new owners, Potato can still hear them despite his ears being removed. While sharing a picture of Potato on their Instagram, the new owners wrote, “Potato was a stray cat, so no one knows when he was born or how old he is,”. However, they ended up guessing that Potato is about 6 years old and since they adopted him on the 25th of April back in 2019, they are now celebrating Potato’s birthday and lucky for us, they shared some of his most adorable pictures on their Instagram account!
