Cat Figures Out Owner Doesn’t Appreciate Dead Mice And Birds As Gifts, Starts Bringing Giant Leaves Instead

Domestic cats, like wild cats, hunt for prey such as mice and birds. Domestic cats, on the other hand, like sharing their hunt with their owners. Ben, a cat owner who was used to rejecting both dead and live critters presented by Baloo, his cat, was no stranger to this. Ben told the Dodo, “She usually looked so bewildered and unhappy, which made me feel very horrible.” Fortunately, Baloo was quick to notice Ben’s tastes, and instead of bringing home cringe-worthy gifts, she decided to alter it up after a few months and bring home big, nice-looking leaves, which was a much-appreciated shift for Ben. “It was such a relief to not have to deal with live mice every morning.”I’d take the leaf and play with it while she perched on my chest as a token of my gratitude.” Baloo seemed to move from gift-hunting to just giving Ben lots and lots of snuggles after recently moving to a less hunt-friendly environment, and it was more than Ben could ever ask for. This is Baloo the cat

As cats are usually hunters, Baloo also hunts on live animals and then brings her home.

When Baloo used to hunt in the morning, she would bring live mice home to celebrate them 

Baloo would get sad whenever she presented the gifts to her owner Ben and he rejected them

So instead of bringing home mice, she started looking for big, nice leaves for her human.

It then became Baloo’s ritual to hunt for a new leaf every morning and give them to Ben

Ben started appreciating nthe change of gifts from Baloo therefore she became happy too

And as for Ben, this was actually a beautiful thing
