You’d think banks would just leave you alone if you had no money. But instead, for some reason, they’ve decided that charging individuals for not having money is acceptable and necessary. Which must seem quite absurd, right?
They had an unpleasant experience with a bank that canceled their checking accounts and became very tough when OP tried to get their money that was in the checking account back. Redditor u/ThrowOhWaitNo detailed the incident in a post to the famous forum r/MaliciousCompliance. Even though the bank’s representatives tried to avoid him and only wanted to speak with his wife, OP handled the confrontation admirably. Due to sheer strength and a determination to not let things go the bank’s way, the bank eventually gave up, and OP prevailed.

OP was truly right and the bank was acting quite weird. I mean who the hell judges whether you are going to get your check or not based on gender? This is quite absurd people and business organizations need to stop doing it. It can actually enrage people and sometimes things can go a little bit rough. We think OP did the best and he was truly on his right.
