Yes, you definitely would cause you do not have a choice. Do you? Cat owners are well aware of the fact that we are not the ones who are keeping the cat in our house as a pet, it’s the other way around. Our cat is in charge, basically. So we better make sure to obey the commands and keep them happy. But today’s story is definitely going to boost your morale of keeping your cat entertained!
Do you know about the famous movie star, Anthony Hopkins? You better as he has given us some of the best masterpieces such as Silence of the Lambs & Hannibal and the list goes on. Anyway, not only he is an amazing actor but also a very kind human being. Now Anthony Hopkins decided to set an example for cat owners. What did he do? Well, while Mr Hopkins was into self-isolation during the pandemic, the 82 years old movie star decided to keep himself busy by playing the piano for his cat, Niblo. The cat appeared to be really enjoying it!
For those of you who are not following Anthony Hopkins, his cat Niblo can be seen often on his social media. Before playing the piano for Niblo, Hopkins also posted a video of himself and Niblo wishing a good morning to his fans and followers. The video starts with, “This is my pal Niblo, saying good morning to everyone – oh, he got bored!” Hopkins then chuckles as the cat runs away during the clip, which was captioned, “Niblo wishes everyone a lovely day…”
Now moving towards the video which he shared on his Instagram later of himself playing the piano for his cat, the movie star captioned, “Niblo is making sure I stay healthy and demands I entertain him in exchange… cats 🤷🏼♂️.”
In August, he uploaded a video to Instagram of himself playing a tune with Niblo on his lap, captioning the post, “The pleasures of my life: a cat, a piano, a book, and a cup of tea.”
According to Hopkins, animals have been some of the most important things in his life and he admires them a lot!
“I was driving around Venice the other day, and I thought, ‘It’s all a dream. What a struggle it all is. It’s all an illusion, but it’s the glory of life, the sheer glory of looking for it in everything.’ And I’ve become aware of that now, more than ever,” he said. “It’s in there. It’s in my cat, it’s in my dog, it’s in you. How could it be otherwise?”
“I watch my cat jumping to a little pinch on the fireplace. Now, he can’t write a book, he doesn’t know anything about philosophy or mathematics. But how the hell does he do that? That is totally awe-inspiring.”
The post ends here but Anthony Hopkins surely is a great inspiration. Whether it’s about acting, playing musical instruments, painting or even going an extra mile for animals, he has got it all!
