We all know this and animals have to go through similar things to us. In some cases, they have it worse than us. Especially when people adopt an animal and then can’t take proper care of their pet. That is why we always say that not everyone is supposed to be a pet owner. Don’t get me wrong, pets are scientifically proven to make us generally happier but that doesn’t automatically mean that we deserve them.
There have been so many cases where people abandoned their pets after it got too hard to take care of them. Now I am not going to shame everyone as sometimes people have a valid reason to leave their pet but one should never abandon them. It is usually better to leave them at a shelter or try to get them adopted. Thankfully, so many animals do find their forever home after going through these circumstances.

I understand that these stories will warm anyone’s heart but that doesn’t mean you should go out right now and adopt a pet. Having a pet can be a pretty big responsibility and not everyone is up to the task. This is why so many animals end up back on the streets or in the shelters even after they got adopted for the first time. Many people take advantage of these animals since they don’t really have a voice so I hope humanity can do better in the future.
The cat I saved recently saw me in the bathtub for the first time. I found him crying out in the rain and took him home. He was covered in matted fur, and I had to completely shave off his fur on his back legs, sides, and his stomach.
