Woman Leaves Thanksgiving Dinner Because She Doesn’t Like Her Sisters Dog, Drama Ensues

Dogs aren’t for everyone.

Even if most people absolutely adore dogs, it is to be expected that there will be some individuals who don’t want to be anywhere near them. This may sound harsh but it is perfectly fine. I personally find doggos adorable but I still would never adopt one because I am still a tiny bit afraid of dogs but that is my problem. However, even people who love animals don’t like the mess that animals can cause.

I mean nobody wants animal hair in their food. As someone who has a very floofy kitty, I can sympathise with founding cat hair literally everywhere. Although most of the time if you keep your pet clean and brush theme every day, this isn’t as big a problem as some people make it out to be. And ofcourse you shouldn’t keep your pets in the kitchen if this is a problem. And that is the thing that started this drama.

This is going to be a complicated story so strap in.

She doesn’t like dogs and she is quite clear about that right from the start.

And she doesn’t want dog hair in her food which is understandable.

So when she came to her mother’s place, she did not know her sister’s dog was going to be there.

So rather than saying anything else, she leaves the house.

She was called a few times but she did not answer.

So she decided to ask Reddit users for some advice.

As you can expect, people had a lot of differing opinions.

I have no idea what to think about this one. I can understand that she doesn’t like dogs and I don’t think anyone wants dog hair in their food but leaving might have been an extreme reaction. She could have simply talked to them about it or perhaps she could have ordered food and remained at her mother’s place. She did cause a lot of drama over something quite small. However, she might have talked to them about this and they may not have listened.

Some thought that she caused drama over nothing.

While others were on her side.

There were also some comments who put the blame on her.

They said that she should have communicated her issues earlier.

It is a hard thing to agree on.

After all, there is no clear right or wrong in this instance.

However, I do admit that keeping your dog in the kitchen when it sheds a lot isn’t a good idea.

However, she could have stayed anyway and not eaten the food.

Even people who adore dogs understood her plight.

After all, not everyone likes dogs.

It can be very unhygienic.

What I don’t understand is why they couldn’t have kept the dog in any other room.

Why did it have to be in the kitchen?

All of this could have been solved easily.

Finding animal hair in your food is pretty gross.

I guess it depends on the person.

Some people are fine with it while others are not.
