Wife Refuses To Go On Vacation With Husband’s Cousins Who Are Crazy About Recycling

Some people are very passionate about recycling and saving the environment. They try to reduce their waste, reuse what they can, and recycle everything else. They also encourage others to do the same and sometimes even judge them for not being eco-friendly enough. But what happens when these people go on a vacation with someone who is not as enthusiastic about recycling as they are? Well, you are about to find out in this story.

Reddit user u/ThrowRA295728 shared that she along with her husband and his cousins went on a trip. Some cousins on the trip were “pro-recycling” if I can refer to them that way. Those cousins kept berating OP for not being as crazy about recycling as them for the entirety of that trip. It made OP feel really upset and bad as she shared she had paid equally as much as everyone to be on that trip so why was she the one being pointed out so much?

The group made a plan to go on a similar trip again but this time OP decided not to go after what had happened the last time. This decision upset OP’s husband as the matter got posted on the subreddit “Am I The A$$hole?” by OP to know if not going on the trip with her husband and his cousins would make her an AH or not.

I believe it is highly unfair the way OP got treated on that trip. Also, I don’t understand why OP just had to agree with everything the cousins said or wanted her to do. She could’ve just said yes to everything and done whatever she wanted to do. They were all the trip financing themselves, so I don’t think any situation made OP bound to conform to the cousins.

I know we have more of the story remaining but I will declare her NTA. No one would like to go on a second trip with such people.
