Servers Share The Dumbest Things Customers Have Said Or Done

It is common knowledge that working in the food service industry is a challenging and unpleasant job. The hardest parts of the job may not be the long hours, low money, or unpleasant bosses. Clients who think they have the right to treat others like garbage are many employees’ worst fear. These people ought to be publically reprimanded for acting like such jerks, whether they assault servers physically, accept tips, or let their children run around like it’s their playground. Of course, there are also those annoying clients who are just plain stupid and completely oblivious to their surroundings.

They don’t mean to be cruel, but they do make some rather bizarre demands and expect everyone to comply. A third category of restaurant patron exists as well. Well, there are just too many different kinds of bad restaurant patrons; we are unable to mention them all here. Fortunately, the majority of people are aware of the challenges that service employees face and treat them with respect. A few days ago, Twitter user Zu gave the brave servers a well-deserved shout-out, and soon the thread was flooded with horror stories about service personnel.

4. Evidently, the poster was unsure of both the price and the portion.

6. Promotions are irrelevant to me; I just want my shake colored frequently!

7. I’ve already noticed a difference…

The second type is also available. Those little folks are the ones who are frightened to speak up in public settings like doctors’ offices, colleges, and workplaces. And that makes them so bitter inside. And when they finally have a chance to talk to someone who doesn’t affect their lives or pose a threat, they suddenly get a pair and start acting like they are masters of the servers.
