When things don’t seem to work in your favor, you use your brain and find the other way around.

Life is not always easy especially when you move to another country that is culturally different. One should always keep their expectations low if they want to avoid disappointment. You always end up getting disappointed when you expect a lot from a person. So, keep your expectations as low as you can and your spirits as high as you can. That’s the secret of a happy life. A Reddit user read a story on Reddit that reminded her of her own story and she instantly decided to share it on Reddit. OP moved to another country with her husband and they decided to go out for dinner. They were told that the Service here is crap so they went in with very low expectations. It was a nice restaurant with a fully stocked bar. OP and her husband decided to order a cocktail with their meal. OP ordered her cocktail and the server said that they don’t have cocktails. OP was surprised to hear this because it was a fully stocked bar. Scroll down to read how OP got to enjoy her cocktail in the same restaurant.

When a server refuses to make you a cocktail, you can make yours. OP made herself a cocktail that was double since the glasses were big. She also enjoyed seeing the server huffing away. Well, it might be because the server did not want to make a cocktail or mainly because it was against the laws or the restaurant does not allow it. We can’t really say that it was server’s mistake.
