Make it more difficult for a firm if you feel that their flawed policy is cheating you! This thread, which was posted by user u/dawkc to the r/MaliciousCompliance section of Reddit, is additional evidence of that.
Before the vendor was contacted to inquire about a possible credit after this restaurant manager discovered a missing order of shrimp, they implemented a new policy claiming that they owed him nothing because he had already signed the delivery form when the truck driver arrived. Like any good tale of malevolent compliance, the Redditor chose to be challenging by strictly adhering to the rules. He held out on signing the paperwork until he was certain that all the things had been counted when the subsequent delivery arrived. The vendor’s delivery schedule for the rest of the day was thrown off as a result, which took an hour and a half. The truck driver who was made to wait 90 minutes is the true victim of this tale. Apologies to this man!
