We all love our favorite celebrities so dearly. We have watched their movies countless times, both in the cinemas till the last show and on blu-ray as well once it comes out. And I am sure the craze has made you watch all sorts of videos and read articles related to them on social media. From searches regarding what our favorite celebrity is up to these days to every single video interview available on the internet, we try to make sure we know every single thing about them.
But there is one dream no social media platform or internet forum can help us achieve and I am sure every celebrity fan has this dream; to meet their dream star in person. To meet our favorite celebrities is something not easy because you don’t know where they are and stalking them to track their whereabouts may get a bit too weird, and mostly in public these people have security guards around them so even if you do spot them, it gets very difficult to grab a selfie or have a little chat.
However some people do get lucky, they do find their favorite celebrities randomly on a street or at an event and manage to grab a memorable photograph to cherish forever. But you can get unlucky in this situation as well. You may wonder how can someone be considered unlucky even though they have met their dream celebrity. Well, when you think you are taking a picture with your favorite star but in reality, they were not that person, you are to consider the world’s unluckiest person.
Today we have a compilation of people thinking they have finally managed to get a selfie taken with their favorite celebrities only to realize later they were not who those people thought they actually were.

I lowkey feel so bad for these people but there is so much hilarity in these failures as well. You can imagine how excited and insane these people must’ve felt while quickly opening their cameras up and trying to capture a selfie without messing anything up, and then having a little 5 to 10, max, conversation with their favorite celebrity about how much they adore and love them and everything about inspiration and so on.
What I cannot get over is the fake celebrities actually played along and that is the most hilarious part. These people have my respect for playing along and converting these moments instantly into pranks. You don’t get to experience such greatly hilarious moments every day so cherish them while you still can.
Let’s enjoy some more pictures of people with their favorite celebrities. Or at least that’s what they thought those people were. Scroll down below to continue!
