Entitled Mother Wants Redditor To Share Their Nintendo Switch With Her Child On Their Flight

As a parent, the connection formed between you and your child is the strongest and you would do everything in your power to keep it strong. But does that mean you have made every single wish of your child come true? Where should you draw a line to make the whole parenting process the most effective a proper challenge? But to begin with, just accepting the fact that your child cannot get everything he/she asks for is something every single parent needs to realize.

Today’s story is coming right at you from the infamous subreddit “Entitled Parents“. The subreddit has 2 million members. In the story, we have an entitled mother whose child’s every single wish is basically a command to her. Reddit user artlanta shared she was on a flight and directly horizontal from her was sitting a mother and her son. As the plane was taking off, the mother unbuckled her belt and approached OP to ask if there was any way her son could play the game she are playing.

Let’s just say the mother was entitled enough to not take “no” for an answer. What went down is for you guys to read and enjoy!

1. An entitled mother insisting…I am ready for this.

2. OP was on a flight playing her Nintendo Switch.

3. While the plane was still taking off, the mother sitting horizontal to OP kept calling her for attention.

I would not take my seatbelt off while the plane is taking off. I would die of anxiety.

4. The woman next to OP let her know about the mother.

5. OP finally looked up and realized the mother had moved to the empty seat to talk to her.

6. Now that she had OP’s attention, she asked if it was possible for OP to give her Nintendo Switch to her son to play.

Via artlanta

7. OP was not comfortable giving her Nintendo Switch to a stranger and simply said no.

Via artlanta

8. But the mother kept insisting OP give her Nintendo to the kid.

Via artlanta

9. Just check out the entitlement of this mother here.

Via artlanta

10. OP, still very polite, said no for the second time.

Via artlanta

11. Now the mother is p*ssed off.

Via artlanta

12. Anyone would get uncomfortable with such an interaction.

Via artlanta

13. I don’t think this Karen knows how to take no for an answer.

I have a personal hatred developed for people who would firstly not respect the other person’s privacy, the way this mother is going it with OP, and for the people who do not understand that they have been told “no” and continue to make efforts as if the no will magically turn into a yes. Why waste your time? The entitled mother should’ve come prepared if she didn’t know what her kid will do on that 105 minutes flight. Terrible!

I can bet the entitled mother is now going to get angry for being rejected and drive the whole airplane crazy.

14. OP said no the third time and resumed playing her game.

15. Looks like someone is offended.

Via artlanta

16. One of the two lovely women snapped at the mother in support of OP.

Via artlanta

17. Sharing works two ways as far as I know. This is obviously not sharing.

Via artlanta

18. I said that too, the mother should’ve come prepared.

Via artlanta

19. Just anything to make the other person feel they were wrong.

Via artlanta

20. Entitled people, they really are something.

“My husband and I rescued little Bowie off the streets of Guam. He was covered in ticks and burs and his back leg was broken presumably from being hit by a car. And he was only 2 months old! Now, he’s 6 months old and lives in Hawaii with 6 humans that adore him. Rescue is beautiful.”
