Long trips are exhausting, so if you get the chance to relax while in the air, you grab it. Bratster22, a Reddit user, did precisely that. The man reserved a seat with additional legroom for one of his recent excursions. During boarding, however, a woman with a baby approached him and requested if he might swap seats with her husband, putting the man in a difficult situation. In the end, he refused. However, as time passed and Bratster22 told more people about the encounter, he began to have reservations. To put it all behind him, he informed Reddit’s ‘Am I The [Jerk]?’ community what had happened, asking its 4 million users to judge his behavior. 1. OP and his wife were traveling for a long journey, for 10 hours, when they booked two seats with extra leg space

2. The woman sitting on the middle seat asked OP to switch seats with her husband who was sitting on the seat with lesser leg space which OP did not pay for

3. She pointed toward her husband and told her that she needs help from him with the baby

4. While OP’s wife stayed quiet, he firmly said that they could not exchange the seat as he had paid extra for the legroom seat. She said they paid extra too but his husband has been given that seat (suspicious)

6. The steward shifted them both to 2 vacant seats in the first row with legroom whereas the woman kept making bad comments
