Okay, maybe that’s a stretch because any cab app gives you your driver’s number plate number, so you never make that mistake, but apparently people still do. I also call my driver to find out where they are and double-check the license plate number before getting in. While I understand that someone might make this mistake while drunk, it shouldn’t cause any problems. After all, it’s just a silly mistake, so what’s the big deal?
It’s certainly inconvenient to be hailed in the middle of traffic and have people banging on your door while your child is sleeping in the back of the car. Anyone who has children understands the agony of dealing with a sleepy child who has been awakened in the middle of their slumber; they are usually irritable and will cry over anything. So the guy who had this strange experience decided to share it on Reddit to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

It’s surprising to see that it happened to him twice on the same day. While we’ve all seen videos of people mistaking someone for their Uber, this is a little excessive. What kind of person bangs on someone’s car and demands to be let in? And don’t Ubers usually park on the sidewalk so you can get in easier? I’m sure it’s the same everywhere, and it wasn’t late at night when drunk people would be everywhere. It was only nine o’clock! At the very least, it makes for a good funny story to tell others.
