Man Gets Angry At His Wife For Changing The Locks After He Gives A Copy To His Mother

Marriage isn’t easy.

A lot of people believe that if their relationship isn’t working, they should get married or have children. I know this sounds really dumb which it is but a lot of people believe this. Ofcourse it never works and that is exactly how people end up in situations like these. While I do think communication is key when it comes to any sort of relationship but sometimes that isn’t an option. Especially when your partner isn’t willing to listen to reason at all.

In situations like these, it really does seem like you are talking to a wall and no matter what you do, you won’t really change anything. And this can happen when in-laws stick their noses where they aren’t welcome. I am sure you have read hundreds of stories of parents butting in but it still surprises me to see entitled people like these. Being a momma’s kid isn’t anything wrong but you have to set up some boundaries when you get married.

Even if she is his mother, she still needs to respect their privacy.

Rather than listening to her pleas, he basically shut her down.

She was obviously frustrated with this so she ended up changing the locks.

If the mother-in-law wants to come over, she can always call beforehand and ring the doorbell.

Nobody is standing up for her and it is just sad to see.

I would they need to work on their communication skills but it is clear that the husband has made up his mind and isn’t willing to listen to his wife. I won’t right out say that she needs to leave him because we don’t know how the rest of their relationship is but she does need to think about it. It does seem like his mother is a big part of this relationship and not every partner wants that. So she needs to think hard about what she is willing to put up with.

However, people in the comments were definitely on her side.

Most people urged her to throw the whole husband out.

I am pretty sure he will give her a key again.

I don’t see why the mother-in-law wants a key anyway.

I am surprised that she didn’t see this coming at all.

Some commenters even had dates lined up for her and that is hilarious.

This doesn’t sound like a healthy relationship at all.

They do need relationship therapy and that is if the husband agrees.

It might sound harsh but divorce or therapy are the only two ways.

He also wants to be in my lap when I’m working and physically grabs my hands so I can’t write anything. It might be adorable but that is always the reason I am late at turning work in.
