Little Pup Who Was Dropped From The Sky By A Bird Of Prey Turned Out To Be A Purebred Dingo

This Dingo got delivered to a stranger.

Puppies and their stories, for some reason they feel very dear to everyone’s heart. Be it sad or happy, it really does channel all your emotions where you just can’t wait to know what happened at the end. Today’s story is bound to do very similar; bring about a roller coaster of emotions. You guys must that Hollywood rom-com “The Proposal” that revolved around a romance between Ryan Reynolds’ and Sandra Bullocks’ on-screen characters. If you have, you must remember that scene where an eagle grabs the puppy and then later drops it back from the sky. Well, this type of stuff is not restricted to movies but happens in real life too.

So many little puppies and lambs get plucked from one house yard and get dropped to another. And mainly the large birds of prey like the Red Kite or the Common Buzzard commit such acts. Something very dangerous. Well, this one dingo puppy was a victim of such an act.

Vandi the purebred dingo was dropped into the backyard of a family living in Wandiligong, Australia. The family noticed some whimpering one morning and that is when they discovered this cute baby.

Meet Wandi. A purebred Dingo!

The family decided it was a lost puppy and let it stay out in the yard assuming that its owner would come looking for it. But when no one came looking for it, the good family decided to take the matters into their own hands.

Wandi was taken to a veterinarian, Rebekah Day, who was quick to notice scratches on his back and from the size, it seemed like they were from a large bird.

The family was quick to consider it was a large bird’s doing because there were many large birds in the area they lived in.

And even Dr. Rebekah said this was not something rare and many small animals get plucked by such birds of prey occasionally.

“We have seen lambs, and small dogs picked up on occasion”, said the doctor.

You know how it goes, pure souls don’t have to make efforts, things happen on their own for them.

Dingo Discovery Foundation soon found out about Wandi

They were very excited to contact Dr. Rebekah who was taking care of Wandi at the time.

Wandi was taken in by The Dingo Discovery Foundation. The reason why they were so excited about Wandi was that Dingos are currently very endangered and could face extinction. And that is why the sanctuary was quick to take Wandi under their care.

The sanctuary took a genetic sample from Wandi to send to the University of South Wales to be DNA tested.

They wanted to make sure if Wandi was actually a pure Dingo or not.

And voila! The test results showed Wandi was a 100% purebred Dingo! A very rare animal in today’s time.

We are sp glad our cute Dingo is in good hands. I have no idea if he has any owners or whether it was a stray. Either way, I really hope he soon finds himself a family that loves him forever, as deserved.

Internet wasn’t going to stay behind. Here’s how everyone reacted!

You guessed it! They were all happy and everyone had their own way to show love.
