Nobody wants to feel lonely.

But in this day and age when we are supposed to stay at home and not interact with even our family, I think all of us are feeling that affect our sanity. However, having a pet around certainly helps. And that is exactly what this particular artist wants to show. Her name is Peijin and she is truly an incredible artist. What is even more surprising is that she is completely self-taught, which blows my mind.

That is why we wanted to showcase some of her best illustrations for you to enjoy since she deserves much more recognition than she is currently getting. Her art has a sort of ethereal look to it with colours contrasted heavily and a bright overall flow in all of her pieces. Hi there! I’m Peijin, a self-taught freelancer illustrator based in Munich, Germany. Two years ago I gave up my engineering career and started my art journey. Since then I have been receiving so many encouraging and inspiring feedbacks from social media and my clients. I can’t fully explain it but her art somehow makes me feel nostalgic even though I have never had a pet in my life. I suppose there is that feel to it.
