Husband Kicks Out Ex Wife’s Daughter So He Can Date In Peace

Relationships are tricky. When you first enter a relationship, it’s all new and you are getting to know a person. But as you progress, there are so many expectations, baggage, not to mention the love, that adds on. And you’re always expected to be there for your significant other and handle everything that comes along with them. But what happens when they leave you but not before leaving behind a piece of them that refuses to leave?! Wow.. what a paradox.

Once a relationship ends, you do all that is in your power to move forward with your life. No doubt it is a very difficult thing to do. And it takes a toll on you as well. So, it’s a very natural reaction for us to seek comfort in the things that can help us move on. Be it an object, food, or even people. Just about anything that can be helpful in any way possible. And this one husband aimed to do exactly that! But something got in the way of him trying to move on.

Instead of telling you a story, let us show you instead. Scroll down to check out this man’s story!

All this former husband wanted to do was enjoy his new found freedom.

Well, no. I guess that is a bit too much. Poor guy just wanted to move on!

For those of you who don’t know yet, AITA means ‘am i the asshole’. It is a subreddit where people share their side of the stories when they are unsure of whether they did the right thing or not. People in return, figure out from their own limited perspective of how that person is either the asshole, which is YTA or is definitely not the asshole, NTA.

Even though these were her genuine feelings, maybe that might be pushing it a bit?

Would we really want our mother’s new husband to move on so quickly?

A full 5 months to get a job and find an apartment.

Seems doable… I guess? But then again who would want to live with a man who never accepted you as a daughter or someone you don’t share that relationship with?

It’s a good thing this man tried to at least reason with her first.

It would’ve been a bit too much to handle if he hadn’t tried to talk things out.

Alright, so it’s definitely not a traditional marriage.

More like a contract so they can make responsible decisions.

Many people did share the same view as he did.

We wonder if he did the right thing by asking her to move out or not. Technically she is 18 and an adult, albeit a young one. One possible way of looking at it is that she wanted to hold on to her mother’s memory as long as possible. And she herself wasn’t ready to move on which is why she wasn’t letting her step dad do so either.

Well, don’t know if we should be making a decision all by ourselves. What did you think of this? Is he TA or NTA? Let us know in the comments section below!
