When someone buys a house with a parking space, they don’t get it for their neighbors to park their cars in their space and block them in.
You can act courteous and let others park in your parking space if you are not using it but if someone blocks you in your garage by parking their car outside, you will freak out and probably get their car towed instead of going to every house and asking whose car it is. The house that OP just bought was vacant for many years and the neighbors used to park their cars there because no one used to live there. People stopped parking there once OP moved in. One day, OP was in a hurry and wanted to go out when he noticed he has been blocked in by a neighbor’s car. OP was in a hurry so he got the car towed instead of going to every house and asking whose car it is. The next day, the neighbor knocked at OP’s door and asked for the towing fee.
