No one knows about a dog’s health and preferences more than the dog owner.

We love dogs and when we see dogs getting mistreated, we tend to raise our voices at the dog owners but should we really do that? They are the dog owners and they know their dogs’ health better than us. A dog owner shared on Reddit how strangers got aggressive at him for leaving his dogs in the car. This dog owner got tickets for a concert three months ago and planned to leave his dogs with a dog sitter but his dogs got sick and they could not be left with a sitter or at a daycare or a dog park.

They were on medications and were told to be quarantined. OP’s dogs love to stay in cars more than staying home alone. OP didn’t want to leave them at home so he took them with him and made them comfortable in the car. OP left for the concert after making sure the dogs are comfortable. 1. OP bought a ticket to a concert 3 months ago. OP planned to leave his dogs with a sitter but since the dogs got sick, no sitter or daycare was available. OP didn’t want to leave the dogs alone so he brought them with him.

2. OP took the dogs for a walk, got them a drink and made sure they were comfortable. He left them in the car at 8:45 and he was back to the car by 11:45.

3. When OP got back to the car, two people knocked at the windows of his car. They were screaming at OP for leaving the dogs to wait in the car. They called him names.

4. The car was not hot or cold and the dogs were sleeping. They were not left in the sun.

5. These people were so enraged that OP has to think if it is illegal to leave your dogs in the car.

7. OP is lucky that no one has called the cops on him for leaving his dogs in the car.

8. OP’s dogs were not in any danger of overheating or suffocating.
