Father Wants To Go On Vacation With All His Children, His Ex-Wife Loses Her Mind

Keeping the peace in the family can be difficult.

This is especially important if you have a large family and must ensure that everyone is pleased with your actions. It’s even more difficult when you start talking about children from different marriages. That’s the kind of drama that’s going on with OP. He simply wanted to take all of his children on vacation with him. And by “all of the kids,” I mean the two from his ex-wife as well as the three from his current wife. This sounds like a good plan, doesn’t it? Well, not really, because his ex-wife was furious and refused to allow her children to go with him.

I could understand if the OP had some issues in his life that meant his ex didn’t trust him with their children on an international trip. That does not appear to be the case, and she appears to be stirring up drama for the sake of it. It is also clear that she dislikes his new family and wishes for her children to dislike their father as well. This is unfortunately very common. A marriage does not usually end on good terms, and both parties can end up harbouring resentment for each other. Bringing your children into it, on the other hand, is not a good idea.

The title makes him sound bad but the story is a bit more complicated.

We start off with getting some information about the family.

It is a big family but everyone mostly gets along fairly well.

Other than the ex-wife ofcourse who is hell-bent on causing drama.

He wanted to take his kids but his ex-wife wouldn’t allow it and he said as much to his children.

We also get a bit more information as to why she might hate his new family.

She sounds like a piece of work and is even more pissed off after he finalized the vacation.

His wife also agrees with him.

He explained the situation to his kids and promised to make amends.

It is good to see that his kids don’t blame him when it isn’t even his fault.

He will apparently also go through court the next time he goes on vacation.

While it’s never nice to disparage the other parent in front of your children, in this case, the kids deserved to know why they couldn’t attend. The fact that the woman is a rac*st is just the cherry on top. She not only despises OP but also his new family because of the colour of their skin, which sounds childish and inappropriate for an adult. In the long run, she will only gain her children’s resentment by acting in this manner. I can only hope that the kids are not chastised over this.

People in the comments were quick to give him some helpful advice.

But OP is already doing that.

She is trying to make him out to be the bad guy.

To be fair, she doesn’t seem like a fun person to live with.
