The ‘Am I the [Jerk?]’ subreddit was used by a confused woman who was out with her husband for the first time after their child had been born to gain feedback on how they handled an especially noisy infant nearby.
Using the username Ok Candy7966, she stated that the pair spent a significant amount of time (and money) planning the night, including hiring a babysitter and feasting at a fancy restaurant. They were therefore quite annoyed by the cries that were extras but weren’t on the menu. So what’s stopping you from scrolling down?
Lads and pals keep on scrolling down below and make sure you read this story till the end otherwise, you are not going to get the OP’s whole point here. And after that, you know the drill guys, you guys and gals have to let us know who’s the A-hole here.
1. Here’s the heading guys, keep on scrolling down below to dive deeper into this case.
2. OP you deserve it hundred percent, especially when you are going to fancy restaurants babies are better left at babysitters or to someone who knows how to handle a baby when it cries.
7. Because everyone was getting bothered by those loud shrieks, and seems like nobody wanted their evening to be spent in a way that they hear baby cries.
11. To be honest for some people the sound of a baby crying can be a lot irritating and since OP and her husband were trying to spend quality time, we are sure that it must have disturbed the ambiance for a lot of other people too.
15. First of all if couples are going to a fancy restaurant and they want their time spent in a quality manner then they should leave the baby at home to someone who knows how to handle babies or to a babysitter.
20. We also have to think about the other people who are trying to have a good time there at a fancy restaurant. Nobody likes to hear baby cry at such moments.
