Boss Fires Software Developer For His Orientation, Company Crumbles Down

There should be no discrimination in the workplace.

They say “first impression is the last impression”. They say it right. A person always remembers their first school, their first trip, their first date and their first job. Imagine having your first job and getting fired for being a gay/lesbian/queer? Companies should only be concerned with the quality of your work. If you are a great resource and know your thing, you are a great employee. Nothing else matters. We believe being a gay/lesbian/queer is one’s personal choice and it has nothing to do with the company you work for. Today, we have a story of a Reddit user whose VP is a homophobic woman who did not like anyone who was not white, male or Christian. Since VP heard the gossip about OP being gay, she called him in his office and told him that she can’t have him working here anymore. OP did not say anything in his defense and left the job quietly. OP’s VP is a homophobe who cared about OP’s sexuality and not about how important he is to the company. Employees are not LGBTQ, Christians, male, female black or white. Employees are skillful, hardworking and professional. These are the terms companies should judge their employees on.
