To be fair, raising a child is chaotic regardless of where you live. However, when living in a flat, you must be careful to calm your child as soon as possible so that they do not make a fuss. Even if I sympathise with the situation, as someone who dislikes children, I would become irritated if I had to constantly hear a child crying. However, that is not the only concern for parents. They must also be concerned about the noise that their neighbours will eventually make, waking up your infant. It is simply something that cannot be removed. And, while neighbours owe it to their neighbours not to be disruptive, it is sometimes unavoidable.
That is exactly what is happening in this story. OP, you see, lives in a flat directly above a family. That’s why she always tries to be as quiet as possible in order not to disturb the baby. This time, however, she was involved in an accident and was unable to avoid it. This prompted the downstairs neighbour to call OP angrily and begin yelling at her. Even when she tried to explain the situation, her neighbour was not interested. This escalated even further when the neighbour basically assigned her complete responsibility and asked her to buy everything she needed for the child. I’m not sure what world this woman lives in, but this is not how people usually act.

To be honest, I’d like to know how a person can control how hard they fall. I’ve fallen several times in my life and have never been able to control it. After all, that is why it is called an accident. And the logic behind this woman’s argument is laughable. Not to mention that OP is a minor, and it appears that she only wanted to put pressure on OP to do what she wanted. Basically, she has to spend her own money after falling and injuring herself as a result of some dumb punishment. Even her parents aren’t on her side, which irritates me beyond belief.
What are your thoughts on this? What would you have done if your neighbour had behaved in this manner? Would you have bought the items she desired or put her in her place?
